Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raved about Bukayo Saka on the club’s official website.
Arteta has outlined the progress that the 19-year-old – who can play as a left-back or as a left-winger – has made.
The Arsenal boss believes that the teenager has become more mature now, and has praised the England international for integrating into the team.
Arteta told Arsenal’s official website about Saka: “Absolutely [it’s been crazy] and this is down to all the good work that is being done at Hale End with him, with all the coaches, all the education that he’s been through here and then the type of character and player that he is.
“The way he’s maturing, the way he’s assimilating everything that’s happened to him in the last few months is remarkable. Physically he has evolved. He looks a little bit older. But then how he’s able to read the game, the situation that happens to him, how he resolves the situation, how long it takes to make those decisions.
“His communication has improved a lot towards his team-mates as well because he feels more part of the team, he’s integrated, he feels important in the team I think. Then what he’s able to do with the ball in the final third when things get a little bit difficult, and how he approaches those moments is probably the biggest part of his game.”

Stats
Saka has scored one goal in two Premier League matches for Arsenal so far this season, according to WhoScored.
During the 2019-20 campaign, the youngster made 19 starts and seven substitute appearances in the league for the Gunners, scoring one goal and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
The teenager also scored two goals and provided five assists in six Europa League games for Arsenal last season, according to WhoScored.
Matteo Guendouzi future
Meanwhile, Matteo Guendouzi has suggested that he wants to return to Arsenal next summer.
The French midfielder joined Hertha Berlin on a season-long loan deal from the Gunners in the summer transfer window.
Guendouzi has outlined his desire to play regular first-team football this season, and has suggested that he wants to return to the North London outfit next summer.
The Daily Mail quotes Guendouzi as saying: “It is not that, I just really needed to play this year, a new challenge. That was the most important thing for me. I am still young, I am only 21, so playing time was the top priority for me.
“So Hertha Berlin, I know that I will be able to express myself in a magnificent league. They are a very good club with big ambitions. So, I have left to go on loan there for a year, so I will give everything I can for this club.
“I needed playing time, I need to play, I needed to enjoy myself on the pitch and that is what I am going to do this year.”
