Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reportedly wants to get rid of Nicolas Pepe in the summer transfer window.
According to CBS Sports, Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe is one of the players manager Mikel Arteta is “most eager to move on”.
The report has claimed that a club from Saudi Arabia want to sign Pepe and has already expressed interest in him.
There is “currently a significant difference between the salary expectations of his suitors in the Pro League” and Pepe himself.
CBS Sports have added that Arsenal are willing to accept “a nominal fee” for Pepe or could even terminate his contract and get his £7.3 million-a-year (£140,000 per week) salary off their books.
The 28-year-old Ivory Coast international winger is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of next season.
No future at Arsenal for Nicolas Pepe under Mikel Arteta
In our opinion, Nicolas Pepe is not going to play for Arsenal ever again.
The winger has been left out of the Arsenal squad for their pre-season tour of the USA.
It shows that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta does not have him in his plans at all.

The winger spent last season on loan at Nice.
Pepe failed to make a huge impact at the French club.
The 28-year-old made 17 starts and two substitute appearances in Ligue 1 during his loan spell with Nice.
The winger scored six goals in those games.
Now, just because Arsenal want him gone does not mean that Pepe will leave.
The winger is surely not going to take a pay cut and join another club.
Arsenal cannot expect Pepe to do that.
In the end, Arsenal could have to come to an agreement to pay off Pepe and let him leave as a free agent.
It would be the best thing for the two parties.
