Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has given his verdict on winger Bukayo Saka.

Saka scored twice for Arsenal in the Premier League match against Burnley at Turf Moor.

So, what has Mikel Arteta said about Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka? Let’s take a look.

Mikel Arteta praises Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka

Well, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been raving about Bukayo Saka after the match against Burnley.

Arsenal beat Burnley 5-0 away from home at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Saka was one of the best players on the pitch. The 22-year-old England international scored twice, first from the penalty spot on 41 minutes and then in the 47th minute.

Arsenal boss Arteta was very impressed with Saka, and he has noted that it is not common to find a 22-year-old player who is as consistent as the Englishman.

Arteta told Football.London about Saka being so mature at only 22: “Yes, we don’t really see it [in football]. Especially forward players and wingers with that level of consistency and numbers.

“At his age it is something really strange to find but it is not a coincidence when you look at him every single day. The way he trains, the way he applies himself, the qualities that he has. And he can do more.”

My View: Bukayo Saka could become world class

In my opinion, Bukayo Saka is one of the best young players in the world and is going to get better. Wayne Rooney rates him highly.

I believe that if Saka continues on his current trajectory, then he will become world class in a few years.

As Mikel Arteta has noted, the Arsenal and England international winger is very consistent. Saka always delivers. You will hardly ever see him have a bad game.

The 22-year-old has scored 43 goals and given 33 assists in 159 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The winger has scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in 24 Premier League games and has scored three goals and given four assists in five UEFA Champions League matches this campaign.
