That is according to The Telegraph, who claim that Cotcher has trained with Arsenal’s first-team squad.

The Sunderland Echo reported in October that Cotcher had joined Arsenal on trial ahead of a possible deal.
It was suggested that both Rangers and Brighton and Hove Albion were also interested in Cotcher.
More than a month on, the 17-year-old is still with Arsenal and has been featuring in Under-18 games for the Gunners.
The Telegraph now claim that Cotcher was allowed to train with Mikel Arteta’s first team last week.
Cotcher is thought to have gone through multiple sessions with the Arsenal first team with Arteta taking a close look at him.
This may be part of Arsenal’s analysis as they weigh up whether to sign Cotcher on a permanent basis.
Arteta will want to see talent and potential from any trialist with first-team aspirations surely at the heart of any move.
Striker Cotcher has impressed in the Sunderland setup but Arsenal is a big step up – especially when rubbing shoulders with first-team players.
Cotcher will have hoped to impress and finally earn a deal more than a month since joining the Arsenal ranks.
