Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that Emile Smith Rowe still needs to improve and develop, as quoted in Football.London.
Arteta has said that Arsenal attacking midfielder Smith Rowe is a very good player.
The Arsenal boss added that the 21-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, can still get better.
Football.London quotes Arteta as saying when asked how good Smith Rowe can be: “We will see. He’s very good right now and he can get still much better. There are things in his game that he must improve and develop.”

Good management from Mikel Arteta
Smith Rowe has been superb for Arsenal and has now established himself as a key figure in the team.
The Gunners were crying out for a playmaker following the exit of Mesut Ozil, and in the 21-year-old they have one.
The Englishman is also able to play out wide and is forming a strong relationship with fellow playmaker Martin Odegaard on the pitch.

It is really great management from Arteta not to get too carried away with Smith Rowe.
Now, the Spaniard clearly knows how good the Arsenal no.10 is, but at the same time he does not want him to get complacent.
Which is why Arteta has publicly said that Smith Rowe needs to improve and develop even more.
And he will.
After all, Smith Rowe is only 21 years of age.
The youngster has scored one goal and provided one assist in five Premier League starts so far this season.
