Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has praised the impact of the travelling fans against West Bromwich Albion, adding that his players were even talking about it.
The Gunners made the trip up to The Hawthorns on Wednesday evening, desperately seeking a result after two defeats in their first two Premier League games.
This ended up being a dream for Arsenal. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had Arsenal 2-0 up before Nicolas Pepe made it 3-0.
Bukayo Saka made it 4-0 from a sublime Martin Odegaard assist, with Aubameyang completing his hat-trick and Alexandre Lacazette rounding off the scoring in a 6-0 victory.

Things won’t be easy this weekend, as Arsenal face a somewhat daunting trip to face Premier League champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Boss Arteta has now hailed them, praising their commitment for travelling more than 100 miles for a midweek game.
Arteta, speaking to Football.London, even added that his player were talking in the dressing room about how great the Arsenal fans were as the club attempts to repair the relationship with disgruntled supporters.
“It’s great to see the support that we got from the fans today,” said Arteta. “They came all the way here on a midweek night to support us, the players were talking about it. We need to get ready physically and mentally to go to Manchester and try to win,” he added.
