Mike Tyson has been vocal about his high hopes for Dana White’s new venture into boxing.
The UFC CEO made a big entrance into the sport by promoting the highly anticipated Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford bout in September.
Dana White, with backing from Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, aims to transform boxing over the next few years.
In 2026, 12 Zuffa Boxing events will be broadcast on Paramount, which recently signed a $7.7 billion deal to serve as the UFC’s home for the next seven years.
Mike Tyson is keen to play a role in Dana White’s boxing venture
Mike Tyson has been vocal about his support for Dana White’s latest move into the world of boxing.
The former heavyweight champion, who has known White for years, sees him as a positive force in the sport.

Tyson is interested in joining Zuffa Boxing and contributing to White’s efforts to build something lasting.
Speaking to HardRockbet, Tyson said: “I think he would do well to have more options. I think, if he hired me, he would win totally. I knew Dana when he had hair. What he does, the UFC [is great].”
Mike Tyson’s next fight
Mike Tyson ended his 19-year retirement in November 2024 when he fought Jake Paul, who has made the switch from YouTube to boxing.
The 59-year-old lost the fight on points but earned $20 million for his return to the ring. Tyson is now preparing for an exhibition against Floyd Mayweather, which is set to take place next year.

Speaking about Mayweather, who retired with a perfect 50-0 record, Tyson said: “It looks like he’s going to get knocked out.”
