IShowSpeed has been everywhere during this World Cup, and he linked up with Tyson at the final to soak in the action — and to discuss a possible future fight with an unexpected opponent.
Mike Tyson wants IShowSpeed to fight Ray J
For better or worse, celebrity boxing is a symptom of this new social media-driven world. Even those with no interest in the sport of boxing can’t resist tuning into their favorite stars entering the squared circle.
During his World Cup final stream, Speed linked up with Tyson in a VIP booth.
He told the former world champion: “Hey Mike, one day I want you to train me. I wanna become a fighter.”
He then showcased his skills with some shadowboxing, hoping to get some tips for one of the greats.
Tyson had no notes, instead looking ahead to a possible fight with singer-rapper Ray J. He said: “We gotta get you and Ray J in the ring.”
Ray J is 1-0 in his boxing career, having knocked out internet personality Supa Hot Fire at an Adin Ross event in Las Vegas. Speed, on the other hand, is yet to fight anyone. It’s something he has voiced his desire to get into, though.
