Celtic defender Mikael Lustig has struggled with injuries in recent years.

Celtic defender Mikael Lustig has revealed to The Scottish Sun the struggles he has had with injuries.
Lustig has been on the books of Celtic since 2012 and is an important player for the Scottish giants.
The 30-year-old right-back has won the league title five times, the Scottish Cup once, and the Scottish League Cup on two occasions.
Injuries have hampered Lustig’s progress and development at Celtic, and the Sweden international has revealed how he struggled with his problems.
“My form at Celtic has been like the form of the team,” Lustig told The Scottish Sun. “My first six months here were tough because I didn’t play that many games, but the season after that I had one of my best ever seasons.
“We made it to the last 16 of the Champions League and we won the Double also. Then I had to have ops on my hips, which wasn’t good.
“I missed half of that season, came back and then hurt my ankle which cost me five or six months. Injuries can happen to anyone but when you’ve been out with something once, it’s difficult when something happens a second time.
“It was a struggle for me but this season I feel good again. I’m now able to play 90 minutes, which is why I had surgery on my hips. Before the op, in the last 15 minutes of matches my hips were killing me.”
Celtic are having a great season and could win the treble. Brendan Rodgers’s side have already won the Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish League Cup, and could clinch the Scottish Cup.
The Glasgow giants also featured in the group stage of the Champions League this season and will be aiming to do the same in 2017-18.
The Hoops will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Ross County away from home at the Global Energy Stadium in the Scottish Premiership.
