The Celtic youngster has been in magnificent form recently.
Celtic defender Mikael Lustig spoke exclusively to the Daily Record, and offered high words of praise for his teammate Kieran Tierney, suggesting that the left-back never has a bad game.
Tierney, 21, has been magnificent for Brendan Rodgers’ side since making his senior debut in April 2015, and he has gone on to make 156 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops.
Unfortunately for Celtic, the Scotland international’s fine form has not gone unnoticed, with some fo Europe’s biggest club’s reportedly keeping tabs on him.
The Glasgow giants managed to keep hold of him in the summer, though, and he seems to be fully committed to the club.
Lusting spoke to reporters about Tierney’s quality, and suggested that the left-back is never going to have a bad game, as quoted by the Daily Record:
“To have players such as KT, Cal and Jamesie brought up with the club at heart is massive. They know everything about the club and can pass that on to others coming into the system from other teams or abroad. KT is KT. He is never going to have a bad game.”
If Tierney continues to put in the performances that he has been producing of late, Celtic will be bracing themselves for some big offers for the 21-year-old over the course of the next two transfer windows.
