Arsenal return to Premier League action this weekend as they host Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday night.

The Gunners are attempting to gear up for that game, but with so many players still away on international duty, it isn’t easy for Mikel Arteta.

Some key men like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have stayed with Arsenal over the break, but a lack of numbers means Arteta has had to call in youngsters.

On Tuesday, we saw midfielder Miguel Azeez make an appearance, with the 19-year-old given a chance to shine in first-team training.

Azeez is one of the most promising youngsters at Arsenal, and was backed for stardom by Aubameyang himself earlier this season.

The teenager is really knocking on the door for a chance having excelled in Premier League 2 – and other youngsters joined him.

Contract rebel Folarin Balogun was in action as speculation continues to surround his future with his deal set to expire this summer.

Fellow striker Nikolaj Moller was also given a chance after five goals in 14 Premier League 2 outings since arriving from Malmo on deadline day in October.

Arteta has shown that he is willing to give chances to young players, and all three will hope to have made a lasting impression on the Spaniard with their displays yesterday.
