
Arsenal youngster Miguel Azeez and Liverpool winger Harvey Elliott are among the players who have sent messages to Lewis Bate on Instagram after the midfielder made his Premier League debut for Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United against West Ham United.
Bate was in action for Leeds in their Premier League game against West Ham at London Stadium on Sunday.
The West Yorkshire club won 3-2.
Bate did not start the match, but the 19-year-old came on as a substitute for Adam Forshaw midway through the first half.
It was the English midfielder’s debut in the Premier League.
Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa took off Bate 65th minute for Rodrigo.
Bate has taken to Instagram to express his delight at making his Premier League debut for Leeds.

It is not easy to make one’s Premier League debut as a substitute, especially so early in the game.
But, in our view, Bate did well and held his own for Leeds.
The England Under-20 international a pass accuracy of 79%, took 32 touches, attempted one dribble, and made one tackle, one interception and one clearance.
