Newcastle United reportedly want to sign Miguel Almiron.

Almiron is one of the best players in Major League Soccer and is reportedly on the radar of a number of clubs in the Premier League.
According to El Intransigente, Newcastle, West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal all are interested in the Paraguay international attacking midfielder.
The Daily Star quotes Almiron’s father, Ruben, as saying: “He will definitely go to England, what’s left to be decided is to what club but Newcastle is the one with the advantage.”

Major boost for Newcastle United
Newcastle are struggling for survival in the Premier League, and manager Rafael Benitez could do with a creative player like Almiron.
The 24-year-old scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in 37 MLS appearances for Atlanta this season, according to WhoScored.
The Magpies need someone to score goals and create chances, and the Paraguay international’s game will meet their need.
With the attacker’s father saying that Newcastle have the advantage in the race for the 24-year-old’s signature, perhaps the Magpies will secure his services in the January transfer window.
