Miguel Almiron could be Newcastle United’s most important player against Leicester City this weekend.

The Paraguayan international is yet to open his account for the Magpies since making his big-money move in January. His underwhelming performances over the last few games has reportedly put Bruce in a dilemma ahead of Sunday but the Newcastle boss should stick with him against Leicester.
Brendan Rodgers’ side are full of confidence after a comeback win against Tottenham last weekend followed by a midweek demolition of Luton in the League Cup. However, Newcastle have a very good chance to get a result against the Foxes thanks to one specific problem in their defence.
Caglar Soyuncu has been Leicester’s best defender since the start of the season. He has well and truly filled the void left by Harry Maguire but there is one area of his game that could come back to haunt Rodgers’ side against Newcastle on Sunday.
The Turk has the tendency to make poor decisions when a player manages to get past him. He brought down Marcus Rashford in the box against Manchester United and did the same against Tottenham last week with Harry Kane who managed to score despite being nudged from the back.

Ricardo Pereira and James Maddison’s goals bailed Leicester out last weekend but that might not be the case in the upcoming games.
Newcastle should look to target Soyuncu’s weakness and Almiron would be the perfect player to do so on Sunday. The 25-year-old possesses electric pace and has the ability to force a foul on him by the opposition defender. This could be a huge outlet for the Magpies against a Leicester side who will be confident of taking all three points this weekend.
