Some Arsenal fans on social media have convinced themselves that Bukayo Saka isn’t going to make the final England squad for the Euros after he was listed as a forward in the provisional roster.

Saka has previously been listed as either a defender or a midfielder in the England squads, but this time he has been put down as an attacker, and due to the depth of talent in that area, Arsenal fans think he may miss out.

To be fair, we can see where they’re coming from. As much as we love Saka, it’d be hard to bemoan Gareth Southgate if he chose to take the likes of Jadon Sancho, Raheem Sterling, Jack Grealish and Phil Foden over him.

Of course, Arsenal fans’ theory may not stand up. Saka is an exceptional footballer who deserves to play for England, and his versatility makes him a real asset at international level.

However, depending on how Southgate views the Arsenal star, he could find himself slipping down the pecking order, especially when you look at the plethora of attacking talent England have at their disposal.

Arsenal supporters believe that Saka may be in trouble due to the fact he’s being viewed as a forward, and here’s what they’ve been saying on social media…
