Egyptian footballing legend Mido has predicted that Jose Mourinho will return to Real Madrid this summer – and sign Liverpool star Mo Salah. Mourinho guided Roma to Europa Conference League glory on Wednesday.
Mourinho became the first to win all three UEFA European competitions, thanks to Nicolo Zaniolo’s winner for Roma against Feyenoord. He has recently said that he will remain at the Serie A club for the 22-23 season.

Meanwhile, Salah has also stated that he will stay at Liverpool during the 22-23 season even if he does not sign a new contract at Anfield. The Egyptian legend is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of next season.
But Mido, an ex-Tottenham and Middlesbrough striker and now football pundit, has made a prediction. He thinks Mourinho could return to Real Madrid, and sign Salah from Liverpool – something he would love to see.

Mourinho, 59, has a contract at Roma until the summer of 2024. He has taken the Serie A side into the Europa League next season, qualifying through the league and the Conference League – with a sixth-placed finish.
It is a slight improvement on last season – one more point and one better place. Next season’s aims will certainly be getting Roma into the top four, but winning their first European trophy makes him untouchable.
Does he join Madrid? Carlo Ancelotti has performed admirably in his second Madrid stint – winning La Liga and guiding his side into the Champions League final. It is unlikely the Italian leaves the Bernabeu.
