PSG have reportedly set up a separate training group for the players that they are willing to sell, with Layvin Kurzawa and former Liverpool and Newcastle United midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum reportedly up for sale and part of that group.

That’s according to French outlet L’Equipe and further backed up by RMC Sport, who claim that the French giants are willing to let go of several first-team players as last season’s Ligue 1 title winners begin their rebuild under their new manager Luis Enrique.

Layvin Kurzawa, who spent last season on loan at Marco Silva’s Fulham, is, according to the same report, up for sale with just one year left on his contract, and Georginio Wijnaldum, who spent last season on loan at Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma, also has reportedly been made available for transfer.

The former Liverpool midfielder made the move to Paris in the summer of 2021, but failed to make any sort of impact in France and now looks set to leave the club as he has seen his game time diminish since his arrival.

PSG focused on moving players on

Having already made six signings this summer, the same report from L’Equipe claims that the French side will now focus on outgoings with PSG’s squad becoming bloated with high-earning players who aren’t part of Enrique’s plans for the season ahead.

Kurzawa looks unlikely to make a return to Fulham after he ruptured his knee ligament in training. The full-back made just six appearances for the Cottagers during his loan spell, with American left-back Antonee Robinson seemingly ahead of him in the pecking order, it meant that the Frenchman was seemingly out in the cold at Craven Cottage.

With PSG making midfield signings galore, in the shape of Manuel Ugarte, from Sporting Lisbon and Kang-In-Lee, from Valencia, it looks hard to imagine where Wijnaldum, will fit in at the Parc Des Princes.
