After a move to Chelsea fell through, Nya Kirby’s switch to Crystal Palace has been confirmed after he left Tottenham last summer.
A year ago Nya Kirby was the latest rising star threatening to break through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur.
He was pictured in first team training with the likes of Dele Alli and Erik Lamela, and seemed to have caught the attention of head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
So it came as a shock in the summer when it emerged he had left the club, and played in a pre-season game for a Chelsea youth side.

The Times reported late last year that Tottenham’s threat to report Chelsea to the FA for tapping up saw the Blues abandon the deal for the teenager, and this week Kirby confirmed he has finally signed for Crystal Palace.
Kirby posted on Twitter welcoming the clearance to sign with the Eagles.
Despite his exit from Hotpsur Way, he had a thankful message for Tottenham.
He wrote on Instagram: “A big thank you to the coaches and staff @spursofficial and massive respect all those who, over the years, gave me their time and help.”
One way or another it seemed there was no going back once he had made his decision to leave Spurs, with his reasons unclear, and appears happy to have his future sorted out at last.
Time will tell if the England youth international made a shrewd decision or an error in judgement.
