Middlesbrough midfielder Gaston Ramirez is one of the dirtiest players in the Premier League so far this season.
There has not been all that much to shout home about for Middlesbrough so far this season, however given the quality in their ranks and their recent victory over Bournemouth hopes are high at the Riverside that they can turn things around. However, one thing they will not want to be reminded of is midfielder Gaston Ramirez’s disciplinary record.
As reported by ESPN, Ramirez is currently joint top of the table when it comes to his actions on the pitch, racking up five yellow cards already this campaign.
Whilst the majority of supporters will choose to turn a blind eye to this information, it is certainly worth noting especially considering that the Uruguayan is now suspended for the game against Manchester City because of it.

In addition to this, Ramirez’s record makes up for a quarter of Boro’s entire collection of yellow cards.
The 25-year-old has been at the North East club for nearly a year having initially signed a loan deal back in January, before eventually completing a full-time move from Southampton.
Other notable players that have accumulated five yellow cards include Jonny Evans, Jordan Henderson and more, however Ramirez’s impact on the Boro team makes his absence from the starting line-up this weekend one of the most costly of them all.
