Middlesbrough’s Adam Clayton played against Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United at Elland Road last week.

Clayton made the comments following the Championship match between Leeds and Middlesbrough at Elland Road last Friday evening.
The 29-year-old midfielder – who has been on the books of Middlesbrough since the summer of 2014 when he moved from Huddersfield Town for an initial transfer fee reported by Gazette Live to be worth £1.5 million – played against the Whites, and he was impressed with the style of play of Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Clayton told Gazette Live about Leeds: “The way they play is like a top three or four Premier League team. They have five across the top and they are constantly on the move.”
Huge praise
Clayton, a former Leeds player, is one of the best midfielders in the Championship and is playing for one of the best teams in the division.
The midfielder’s aforementioned comments underline just how good Leeds are under head coach Bielsa and how much the opposition respect them.

The Whites have been the best and most entertaining team to watch in the Championship this season, and there is a lot of optimistic about this season at Elland Road.
What will be interesting to see if Leeds are able to maintain their current intensity throughout the campaign.
