Danny Batth joined Middlesbrough on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window.

Batth joined Championship club Middlesbrough from Premier League side Wolves in the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old central defender moved to Boro on loan from the Wanderers, and his new teammate Clayton seems to rate him highly.
Clayton told GazetteLive: “And Danny I have played against many times. He is good Championship defender and a good professional it will be good to see what he is about.”
Quality defender
Batth knows the Championship inside out, and the 27-year-old central defender is a good signing for Middlesbrough.
Boro are aiming to challenge for the top two spots in the Championship this season, and the centre-back will be a good addition to manager Tony Pulis’s team.

Pulis is a defensive manager, and Batth is very good at old-fashioned defending, and the combination does look brilliant – on paper at least.
Clayton has been on the books of Middlesbrough since the summer of 2014 when he moved from Huddersfield Town for an initial transfer fee reported by Gazette Live to be worth £1.5 million.
Middlesbrough are second in the Championship table at the moment with 14 points from six matches, level on points with leaders Leeds United.
