Young Middlesbrough attacker George Miller has joined National League side Wrexham on a month-long loan deal.
Miller joined Middlesbrough in the summer having impressed for Bury in League One last season and is now heading out on temporary transfer, as reported by Wrexham’s official website.
This campaign Miller has been in inspired form for Middlesbrough at U23 level – he has scored eleven goals in as many appearances in Premier League 2 – and he will hope to provide further evidence of his prowess in front of goal during his spell with Wrexham.
A hard-working player, Miller is usually deployed up front but he frequently drifts into wide areas and possesses impressive hold-up play.
The 19-year-old is highly regarded by Middlesbrough and will hope to impress sufficiently at Wrexham as he aims to force his way into the first-team reckoning at his parent club.
Wrexham are currently in second place in the National League, level on points with leaders Sutton United, and it is hoped that Miller, even if he is to only stay for a short period, can help the club in their push for promotion.
