Could Middlesbrough sign Jese from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window?
Well-known Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague has told Sky Sports that Middlesbrough are interested in signing Jese from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.
Jese joined French giants PSG from Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £21.2 million.
Much was expected of the 23-year-old at the Ligue 1 outfit, but the forward has struggled to make a huge impact in France.
The Spaniard has scored only one goal and created just four chances in nine Ligue 1 appearances for PSG so far this season, according to Squawka.com.
Sky Sports journalist Balague has stated that Middlesbrough are interested in signing Jese on loan in the January transfer window.

“There are different teams after him, but one that really wants him is Aitor Karanka’s Middlesbrough,” Balague told Sky Sports.
“I don’t think a decision has been made and there are other teams interested so we will have to see in the next few days how that develops.”

Jese is a talented and promising young forward, and signing him on loan from PSG would be a good move for Middlesbrough.
Boro manager Aitor Karanka has worked with Jese before when the duo were at Madrid.
Middlesbrough are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 20 points from 22 matches, just four points above the relegation zone.
