Middlesbrough are said to be keen to snap up Everton’s Yannick Bolasie.

Yannick Bolasie is very much worthy of being Middlesbrough’s number one target this summer, as he could be the perfect replacement for Adama Traore.

The Northern Echo claim that Tony Pulis has made Everton’s Bolasie his first choice transfer target, as he looks to continue to strengthen his squad in the loan window.

And it is hard to think of a better replacement for Traore than Bolasie, as the pair are so similar.

Traore left Boro to join Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this summer, in a transfer which was a blow for Tony Pulis’ side.

However, Bolasie could offer all the same qualities of Traore, meaning the winger’s departure would not necessarily be the major blow it was first feared to be.

Bolasie has blistering pace and a huge amount of skill, just like Traore, and he looks the most natural replacement that Boro could have found for the former Barcelona man.

Doing a deal with Everton for Bolasie could be difficult, but if Pulis can get a transfer over the line, it would significantly increase Boro’s attacking threat for the season.
