Leeds United, Swansea City and Birmingham City reportedly want Middlesbrough’s Britt Assombalonga.

Middlesbrough striker Britt Assombalonga is a proven goalscorer in the Championship, and there is no surprise that Leeds United, Swansea City and Birmingham City all have been linked with the former Nottingham Forest star.
Leeds, Swansea and Birmingham all will be aiming for the Championship playoffs next season, and Assombalonga would be a brilliant signing for them in the summer transfer window..
According to The Northern Echo, the Whites, the Swans and Garry Monk’s side all are interested in securing the services of the 25-year-old striker this summer.
However, the trio will reportedly have to pay a hefty transfer fee in order to sign Assombalonga from Championship rivals Middlesbrough.
The Northern Echo has stated that Assombalonga is rated at £15m by Middlesbrough.

Too high a price?
A transfer fee £15m for a Championship player does sound high, but it could be worth paying if Leeds, Swansea and Birmingham are determined to win promotion to the Premier League.
Assombalonga is a proven goalscorer in the Championship – he scored 15 goals in 34 Championship starts last season and 14 in 20 league starts for Forest in 2016-17 – and he would enhance the quality of the three teams who reportedly want him this summer.
