Saiz featured for Leeds in their Championship game against Middlesbrough away from home at the Riverside Stadium on Friday evening.
The 27-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The former Spain Under-19 international did not have a good game and struggled to create much, as the Whites suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Boro at the Riverside Stadium.
Saiz is arguably the best and most creative player in the current Leeds, and much was expected of the Spaniard prior to the game.
The 27-year-old joined Leeds from Huesca in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £3 million.
The Spanish attacker has scored five goals and provided as many assists in 22 Championship starts for Leeds so far this season.
