The Aston Villa number two could face his current employers with Middlesbrough next season.

Middlesbrough fans are reacting to reports linking their side with the Aston Villa assistant manager, John Terry.
Talksport claims Terry is in talks to succeed Tony Pulis as Middlesbrough boss.
The 38-year-old spent the bulk of his playing career captaining Chelsea and England, but turned to coaching earlier this season having ended it at Aston Villa.
Since then, he and the Villans manager, Dean Smith, have helped to transform Villa’s fortunes and will lead them back to the Premier League with a win against Derby County in Monday’s play-off final.
Derby are of course bossed by Terry’s close friend and former Chelsea teammate, Frank Lampard, whose team qualified for the top six at Middlesbrough’s expense.

But does Lampard’s success have a bearing on the Boro faithful’s views on Terry?
This is what they’re saying about him on Twitter…

I’d rather **** in my hands and clap than watch John Terry manage 1 minute of a Boro game.
Were Aston Villa to lose against Derby then Terry could go head-to-head with his former side as Middlesbrough manager next season.
Would the Villans’ number two be a good appointment for Boro?
