It was very much a tale of two halves for Middlesbrough supporters on Friday night. Indeed, many questioned what Albert Adomah was offering Aitor Karanka’s side before half-time, when the visitors were drawing 0-0 with Ipswich Town.
After the break, however, fans were delighted with the forward as he netted during a brilliant half for the away side.
Middlesbrough ended up two-goal winners against Mick McCarthy’s men and – even if just temporarily – are now top of the Championship table.
And supporters were left impressed by a team who have just notched three wins in a row in the Championship. Is it Karanka’s year?
There’s plenty of competition up there but Ipswich, just outside the play-offs, were no pushovers and the likes of Adomah, David Nugent and Christian Stuani all pleased fans as Middlesbrough’s positive reaction to their 3-0 defeat to Hull continued.
