Middlesbrough know all about Leeds United’s controversial recruitment chief Victor Orta.

Middlesbrough fans have expressed her amusement at former recruitment chief Victor Orta’s pledge of loyalty to Leeds United.
Orta left his post at Middlesbrough last June and was appointed at Leeds days later.
His spell at Boro ended on a low note with the club relegated from the Premier League with many of his signings failing to live up to expectations.

There had been speculation last week in Spanish newspaper La Periodico De Aragon that Orta was ready to quit Leeds, but the Yorkshire Evening Post reported that the technical director is determined to stay put at Elland Road.
This came much to the disappointment of Leeds fans, who have expressed in recent months their hopes that Orta would leave amid a disastrous run of results in 2018 which has seen the club win just three matches in four months.
Orta’s decision was relayed to Middlesbrough fans by the Teeside Gazette.
Boro have rallied from a poor start under former Leeds boss Garry Monk who they fired in December, and they sit fifth in the Championshp table.
Leeds are 15 points behind in 12th place, well adrift of the play-off positions.
Here is a look at how Middlesbrough fans reacted to the latest Orta developments…
