Everton-owned Muhamed Besic was in action for Middlesbrough against Derby County in the Championship on Saturday.

Middlesbrough fans on social networking site Twitter have expressed their surprise at manager Tony Pulis’s decision to take off Everton-owned defensive midfielder Muhamed Besic against Derby County.
Besic, who joined Middlesbrough on loan from Premier League club Everton in the summer transfer window, featured in the Championship match against Derby at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina defensive midfielder started the match and played for 55 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.
Middlesbrough fans on Twitter did not think that manager Pulis was right to take off Besic – who earns £30,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.
Below are some of the best comments:

Besic has made seven starts and four substitute appearances in the Championship for Middlesbrough so far this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Middlesbrough will be disappointed not to win against Derby, but Boro are still very much in the running for the automatic promotion places.
