Middlesbrough face West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday in what is a hugely important game for both sides.
Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka
Middlesbrough travel to London on Saturday to take on a struggling West Ham side, and Aitor Karanka explained to reporters at his pre-match press conference how his side must not take anything for granted against the Hammers, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.
Boro began their Premier League in impressive fashion, but three successive defeats in the league has seen them fall to 16th position in the table.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Karanka described what he feels is the biggest mistake his side could make in their clash against the Hammers, as quoted by Middlesbrough’s official Twitter account:

“West Ham are not in their best moment but they are a good team. Our biggest mistake would be to think it is an easy game.”
Slaven Bilic’s side are currently in the midst of a horrendous run of form which has seen them lose four consecutive Premier League games and find themselves firmly entrenched in the relegation zone.

A win for the Londoners, however, would see them leap-frog the Teessiders in the table, and that in itself highlights the importance of the game for both sides, albeit so early on in the season.
Middlesbrough will surely be expecting a backlash from the West Ham players on Saturday, and must ensure that they are 100 per cent committed to their game-plan if they hope to leave London with all three points.
