West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson is reportedly wanted by Middlesbrough and Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.

Boro manager Tony Pulis knows Dawson well, having worked with the 27-year-old defender at West Brom, and reportedly wants to bring him to the Riverside Stadium.
The former England Under-21 international has been on the books of the Baggies since 2010 and is an important player for the Premier League club.

Summer departure likely?
West Brom are struggling in the Premier League at the moment and are in genuine danger of going down to the Championship at the end of the season.
Both Boro and Villa are fighting for the Championship playoffs this season, and it is very likely that one of them will be in the Premier League in 2018-19.

Dawson is a good defender and knows the Premier League inside out, and he would be a good signing for Middlesbrough or the Villans, either in the top flight of English football or in the Championship.
According to Spotrac.com, Dawson earns £40,000 per week as salary at West Brom, with his current contract at The Hawthorns running out in the summer of 2020, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
