Rival fans on Twitter feel that Everton will struggle to sign Ciro Immobile after he was seemingly made a top target by the club.
90 Min have claimed that Carlo Ancelotti wants to increase Everton’s goalscoring threat and the Lazio forward has been made a priority signing.
To many, this would be a surprise move because Immobile would move from a club in Europe to one that finished in the bottom half of their respective league last season.
As a result, there are sections of opposition fans who don’t think the Toffees will be able to lure Immobile away from Serie A.
But this is where Ancelotti will be hoping to use his pulling power to try and sign some much-needed and high-quality players for the club.
Immobile has just concluded a quite stunning season for Lazio where he won the Serie A golden boot award and the European golden shoe – he netted 36 goals during the season.
It’s some feat from the 30-year-old because he has beaten a certain Cristiano Ronaldo to that award.
