Tottenham Hotspur central defender Micky van de Ven has praised his Spurs teammate Destiny Udogie on Instagram for his performance against Burnley at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur got the better of Vincent Kompany’s Burnley 5-2 away from home in the league this past weekend.
Tottenham went behind after just four minutes, but the North London club launched a strong comeback and won the match with ease in the end.
South Korea international forward Son Heung-min scored a hat-trick.
Destiny Udogie started the match for Spurs at left-back.
The 20-year-old Italian provided an assist.
The left-back has been superb for Spurs this campaign and has established himself as the first-choice left-back under manager Ange Postecoglou.
Udogie has started all four of Tottenham’s Premier League matches this campaign.
The Italy Under-21 international has given two assists in those games.
Udogie spent last season on loan at Udinese from Tottenham.

The left-back, who cost Tottenham £15 million in transfer fees (Sky Sports) made 31 starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A for Udinese last season.
Udogie scored three goals and gave four assists in those games.
During the 2021-22 season, the youngster made 29 starts and six substitute appearances in Serie A for Udinese.
Udogie scored five goals and provided four assists in those matches.

Micky van de Ven joined Tottenham from VfL Wolfsburg in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old Dutchman has been very good for Spurs this campaign.
