Micky Quinn has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Newcastle United’s failure to win against Leeds United on Friday evening.

Newcastle failed to return to winning ways in the Championship as they played out a 1-1 draw with Leeds at St. James’ Park.

Jamaal Lascelles’s goal midway through the second half put the Magpies in the lead, but New Zealand international striker Chris Wood equalised for the visiting team in injury time.

Former Newcastle forward Quinn was following the match, and he has revealed on Twitter how he reacted when Leeds scored the equaliser.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. James’ Park on Friday evening, hosts Newcastle had 56% of the possession, took 22 shots of which four were on target, and earned 19 corners, according to BBC Sport.

Rafael Benitez’s side are second in the Championship table at the moment with 85 points from 42 matches, four points behind leaders Brighton and Hove Albion.
