Would Philippe Coutinho be a good signing for Arsenal in the summer transfer window?

Former Newcastle United forward Micky Quinn said on Drive on talkSPORT last Friday afternoon (broadcast from 4pm, July 28, 2017) that Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho would walk into the Arsenal team.

Coutinho is one of the best players in the Premier League and can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.

The 25-year-old scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in 31 Premier League appearances for Liverpool last season.

During the 2015-16 campaign, the Brazil international scored eight goals and created 49 chances in 26 league matches for the Reds.

Arsenal have some wonderful midfielders, such as Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla, as well as star forward Alexis Sanchez.

Former Newcastle forward Quinn, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, seems to rate Coutinho highly, and has claimed that the former Inter Milan man would walk into the Arsenal team.

“He would walk into the Arsenal team to start with,” said Quinn about Coutinho on Drive on talkSPORT last Friday afternoon (broadcast from 4pm, July 28, 2017).

Liverpool finished fourth in the Premier League last season and will be aiming to book their place in the group stage of the Champions League in 2017-18.

As for Arsenal, the North London outfit failed to a claim a Champions League place last season for the first time in 20 years.
