Celtic drew 3-3 with Manchester City when they met the Premier League side in Glasgow earlier this season.
Micky Quinn has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show, which was broadcast on 24th November, that he believes Celtic would survive in the English Premier League.
Celtic were beaten 2-0 by Barcelona last night, but Brendan Rodgers’ side’s performance in the fixture was encouraging.
The Bhoys competed well against arguably the best team in the competition, and were only undone by two goals from Lionel Messi.

And Quinn saw enough to suggest that Celtic would stay up, if they were thrown into the English Premier League.
“I think they would survive,” Quinn said. “Whether they would be up near the top, I don’t know. But I think they would survive.”

Celtic have taken on one Premier League team already this season, after being drawn in the same group as Manchester City.
Celtic picked up a point against City in Europe, after claiming a 3-3 draw at Parkhead.
The Bhoys’ performance in that fixture was highly impressive, and they caused Pep Guardiola’s men a lot of problems.
Celtic are currently unbeaten in domestic action this term, with their dominance of Scottish football seemingly set to continue.
