Rafael Benitez has left Newcastle United.

Micky Quinn has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Rafael Benitez’s statement following his departure from Newcastle United.
Benitez and Newcastle have parted company this summer, with the former Liverpool and Chelsea manager’s contract at the Magpies running out.
The Spaniard has released an official statement on his Twitter page explaining his exit from the Premier League club, and former Newcastle centre-forward Quinn has taken to the social networking site to give his reaction to it.

Moving on
Benitez was brilliant for Newcastle, and the Spaniard’s departure from the Magpies will be a bitter blow for the St. James’ Park faithful.
Newcastle, though, need to move on, as the Magpies need to appoint a manager as soon as possible, with pre-season training due to start.
It is going to be hard for any manager to follow Benitez, especially as the way how the Spaniard kept Newcastle in the Premier League for two successive seasons.
It is going to be hard for Newcastle to avoid relegation to the Championship at the end of next season.
