Micky Quinn has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Newcastle United’s defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Newcastle’s poor run of form in the Premier League continued on Saturday afternoon, as Rafael Benitez’s side lost 1-0 to Brighton at St. James’ Park.

Beram Kayal’s goal in the 29th minute proved to be the difference between the two sides.

Former Newcastle centre-forward Quinn was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.

Newcastle have been one of the worst teams in the Premier League so far this season, and there is a real danger that the Magpies could get relegated to the Championship.

Benitez’s side are struggling to score goals and are also conceding more than they should.

The Magpies are at the foot of the Premier League table at the moment with just two points from nine matches.

Things are dire at St. James’ Park at the moment.
