The Magpies played out a 2-2 draw with Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Former Newcastle forward Quinn was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.


Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. Mary’s Stadium on Sunday afternoon, hosts Southampton had 62% of the possession, took 12 shots of which two were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Newcastle had 38% of the possession, took 19 shots of which five were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.
Winning against Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium is not easy, and Newcastle should be pleased with a point.
However, many fans will be disappointed with the final result, as the Magpies took the lead twice against the Saints.
Although Newcastle will have been happy with a point at the start of the match, given that they allowed Southampton to come back twice will be a disappointment for many fans.
