Everton are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table.

Micky Quinn has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 1st November, that he believes Everton will fall away as the season progress.

Everton are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table, and they have made an impressive start to life under new manager Ronald Koeman.

However, Quinn does not believe that Everton will be able to maintain their good form for the entirety of the season, as he feels that the Merseyside club may fall out of the European qualification spots.

“I think they’ll flatten out a little bit,” Quinn predicted. “They’re capable of beating anybody in that league, on their day. But can they do it consistently to make it into the top six? I don’t think they can.”

Everton have taken 18 points from their first 10 Premier League matches, even despite their most recent dip in form.

The Toffees went on a four game winless run, but managed to get back on track by beating West Ham United 2-0 in their most recent outing.

Everton scored their goals against West Ham through Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley, as they picked up an important three points.

Koeman’s side are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, in what looks set to be a very tough test.
