Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has played six matches for Jurgen Klopp’s side so far.
Micky Quinn has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 1st November, that he has doubts over Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius.
Liverpool signed Karius from Mainz last summer, and he appears to have established himself as Jurgen Klopp’s number one in recent weeks.
However, Quinn is not convinced by the 22-year-old’s initial displays, and has questioned whether Karius is any better than Simon Mignolet.

“I think they need another defender. And I can’t see it with this keeper [Loris Karius],” Quinn said. “Is he better than Mignolet?”
Mignolet was heavily criticised for his performances in Liverpool’s goal last season, as he made a number of high profile errors.
Karius has also looked slightly shaky in his first few appearances for the Reds, especially when tasked with dealing with crosses.

Liverpool have reportedly put Karius on a training programme to try and help increase his strength, as they feel he needs to bulk up.
The German youth international has now made six appearances for Klopp’s side, since moving to Anfield.
Liverpool are currently in third place in the Premier League table, and they are only behind league leaders Manchester City on goal difference.
