Aston Villa raised eye brows by completing the signing of John Terry, following the expiration of the defender’s contract at Chelsea.
Micky Quinn has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 6th July, that he expects more big signings to follow John Terry into Aston Villa this summer.
Villa raised eye brows by capturing Terry, ahead of a number of Premier League and Championship clubs.
And Quinn feels that the Chelsea legend’s arrival at Villa Park could help encourage more high profile players to the Midlands side.

“I think there could be a few more big signings at Villa now,” Quinn said. “They have to be in automatic contention with Brucey.”
Villa failed to live up to expectations last season, when they could only manage to finish up in mid-table.
Bruce is under pressure to spark a huge improvement next time around, with Villa expected to be among the front runners for promotion.
Despite the addition of Terry, the claret and blues have been relatively quiet in the transfer window to date.
Villa are thought to be shopping on a limited budget, as they look to offload many of their fringe players.
Villa kick off their season with a match against Hull City at the start of August.
