Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino used to manage Luke Shaw at Southampton.

Micky Quinn has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 4th April, that Tottenham Hotspur should be interested in signing Manchester United full-back Luke Shaw.
Jose Mourinho has recently criticised Shaw’s commitment, with the England international’s future at Old Trafford now in doubt.
Shaw has been linked with a number of teams, and Quinn believes that Tottenham and Liverpool should join the race for the full-back.
“I don’t see any future for him at United,” Quinn said. “The best thing for him to do is move. Spurs should be interested, and I don’t see why Liverpool shouldn’t be interested.”
Shaw has struggled to break into United’s team this season, with Mourinho favouring other options.
The 21-year-old’s career has stalled in recent times, and it may be that a move is best for his development.
Shaw has previously worked with Mauricio Pochettino at Southampton, earlier in their respective careers.
When Pochettino was asked about Mourinho’s comments on Shaw the other day, the Spurs boss was giving little away though.
Pochettino said to the Daily Express: “It’s not my player, it’s not my problem.”
If Shaw did sign for Spurs, he would be in competition for Danny Rose for a first-team place at White Hart Lane.
