Despite his fantastic work with Tottenham Hotspur, Mauricio Pochettino is coming under a bit of pressure from some.

Mauricio Pochettino has been almost universally praised for the job that he has done since he arrived at Spurs. But having established Tottenham as a force in the Premier League and leading them into the Champions League in the last two years, the praise just appears to be fading ever so slightly.

The level of expectation has risen significantly during his time at the club, and it is generally accepted that it would be a football travesty if Spurs do not realise their potential and fail to win silverware with the team that they have assembled.
The transition however, of moving out of White Hart Lane, into Wembley for a year and then into their new home next year appears to have given Pochettino some time from some, as they realise that it could be a difficult period for the club.
But Quinn has suggested that Tottenham cannot use playing at Wembley – a ground where they are still yet to win in the Premier League – as an excuse for not winning a trophy this season.

“They finished second last year which was an improvement from the season before and they’ve got to improve again. And that means some silverware, any silverware, just to put something in the trophy cabinet and build on that again. They’ve got masses of potential, Spurs, but they’ve got to start delivering.”
