However, there is also a big challenge for the Spaniard – he needs to first ship out unwanted players to free up the space for new additions.
On Wednesday, Norwich City signed Scotland defender Grant Hanley from Newcastle for an undisclosed fee, as reported by BBC.
The 25-year-old has signed a four-year deal at Carrow Road, and will link up with national teammate Steven Naismith.
The Magpies are also looking to sell Dwight Gayle, with several Championship clubs clubs showing interest already.
Quinn says that Newcastle owner Mike Ashley “must be rubbing his hands” with glee, but what is required for now is new additions to the squad. He added saying “Please sign somebody Rafa” on Twitter.
