Bournemouth’s Josh King and Everton’s Ross Barkley have both been linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Micky Hazard has identified Bournemouth’s Josh King as the perfect acquisition for his old club, and also wants them to sign Everton’s Ross Barkley.
Both players have been strongly linked with moves to north London, with King recently admitting to being ‘intrigued’ by Spurs’ interest.
King scored 16 goals for Bournemouth this past season and according to Hazard, the Norway attacker’s game would complement Harry Kane’s nicely.
“You’re not going to attract a £50 million, £60 million player to cover for Harry Kane,” the 57-year-old said while discussing Tottenham’s summer transfer plans on Talksport this afternoon [Tuesday]. “King is one of the players I’ve been advocating going out and getting. He scores goals, he’s quick, he’s powerful, he’s strong. He’s slightly different to Harry.
“What we didn’t want was two Harrys – obviously we’d have two Harrys of course – but we want someone who would complement him too. So King would be perfect.”

Despite off-field distractions, Barkley also managed to impress for long periods this past campaign, scoring five Premier League goals and creating another nine for Everton.
And Hazard added: “Ross Barkley for me would be another great signing. I’d love to see Barkley under Pochettino’s regime. The way Poch trains the boys, gets their fitness levels up, the way he works on his press and high press and what have you.
“Barkley, under that, I’m sure could progress lovely and it would benefit England as well.”

King is under contract until 2020 at Bournemouth, while Barkley’s Everton deal expires next summer.
Ronald Koeman’s side recently signed Ajax attacking midfielder Davy Klaassen and are said to have maintained an interest in Swansea’s former Tottenham playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson, which could pave the way for the 23-year-old’s departure.
