
Micky Hazard has praised Dele Alli on Twitter for his performance for Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday evening.
Alli was in action for Tottenham in their Europa League Group J game against Ludogorets Razgrad at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 24-year-old midfielder started the match and played for 82 minutes, as Spurs won 4-0.
The England international has struggled for playing time so far this season, but the former Milton Keynes Dons star took his chance well on Thursday evening.
The midfielder created chances, went close to scoring, and provided the assist for Carlos Vinicius’s second goal in a very unselfish manner.
According to WhoScored, Alli took three shots of which one was on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 79.7%, won two headers, took 80 touches, attempted one dribble, made two interceptions, and put in one cross.
So far this season, the 24-year-old midfielder has made one start and one substitute appearance in the Premier League and has made two starts and one substitute appearance in the Europa League for Spurs, according to WhoScored.
Former Tottenham star Hazard was following the match, and he was impressed by the display produced by Alli.
