Spurs host Crystal Palace on April 3 at their new ground, having played their last home game at Wembley.
The club will host a legends game in a test event at the stadium beforehand, with Micky Hazard among those involved.
He is clearly looking forward to it, and while he said he was lost for words, Hazard managed to get a few together to convey his emotions.
Tottenham’s 62,000 capacity stadium was originally scheduled to open in September.
Spurs host Palace on April 3 and then Manchester City in the Champions League just days later.
If they can open the ground with two wins then it will give the team a huge lift at a crucial stage of the season, potentially all working out for the best.
