Former Tottenham Hotspur player Micky Hazard says that Spurs got enough chances to win the match against Burnley on Sunday.
Tottenham are yet to register a win at Wembley this season after managing a 1-1 draw against Sean Dyche’s Burnley in the Premier League.
Dele Alli gave Spurs the lead after the break, but a dramatic injury-time equalizer from Chris Wood denied the home side full three points.
Hazard notes that Spurs weren’t at their best, but they still created enough chances to win the match.
Spurs had 67% possession in the match, and had 28 shots of which only four was on target, according to BBC Sport.
England striker Harry Kane came close to scoring on two occasions for Spurs, but couldn’t find the target.
Hazard also notes that Tottenham played with a low tempo, and that they needed to move the ball fast. He tweeted:
With that result, Spurs have now picked up only one win in their opening three matches. The north London club will face Everton at Goodison Park after the international break.
